Nissan, can be a Japanese multinational automobile manufacturer headquartered in Nishi-ku, Yokohama. In February 2017 Ghosn announced although step down as CEO of Nissan on 1 April 2017, while remaining chairman from the company.In 2013, Nissan was the sixth largest automaker on this planet, after Toyota, General Motors, Volkswagen Group, Hyundai Motor Group, and Ford. Taken together, the Renault–Nissan Alliance could be the world’s fourth largest automaker. Nissan may be the leading Japanese brand in China, Russia and Mexico.In 2014 Nissan was the greatest car manufacturer in North America.Nissan will be the world's largest electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, with global sales in excess of 320,000 all-electric vehicles by April 2018. The top-selling vehicle from the carmaker's lineup would be the Nissan LEAF, an all-electric car along with the world's top-selling highway-capable plug-in electric car of all time.In January 2018, Nissan CEO Hiroto Saikawa announced that Infiniti vehicles launched from 2021 will probably be hybrid vehicles or all-electric vehicles.
