Nissan may be the leading Japanese brand in China, Russia and Mexico.In 2014 Nissan was the most significant car manufacturer in North America.Nissan will be the world's largest electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, with global sales in excess of 320,000 all-electric vehicles at the time of April 2018. The top-selling vehicle with the carmaker's lineup would be the Nissan LEAF, an all-electric car and also the world's top-selling highway-capable plug-in electric car ever.In January 2018, Nissan CEO Hiroto Saikawa announced that most Infiniti vehicles launched from 2021 will probably be hybrid vehicles or all-electric vehicles.
